This poem reflects the severe physical and psychological effects I experienced while taking aromatase inhibitors. The darker thoughts reflect genuine moments of distress, not lasting wishes or intentions. I have since stopped this treatment.

I have lived through many adversities that shaped who I am today. Over time, I learned that resilience doesn’t always look like bravery or certainty- sometimes it looks lie persistence, reflection, and choosing to continue despite doubt.
In this blog, I share the challenges I have faced and continue to face, how I approached them, and the resilience I’ve found along the way. I also reflect on the thoughts, experiences, and lessons shaped by these moments, offering them in hope they may help others navigating similar challenges.
